Performance Description of General Grade Zinc Alloy
It has the highest hardness and strength among various low aluminum-zinc alloys. Its high copper content (3%) will cause some changes in the properties of the alloy during aging. These changes include an increase in size (0.0014 mm per millimeter after 20 years), reduced ductility and impact strength.
Has always been the first choice material in the die-casting industry. It can best balance the requirements of physical and mechanical properties. Its excellent castability and dimensional stability make more than 70% of zinc alloy die-casting products use 3# zinc alloy. 3# zinc alloy is also particularly suitable for surface treatments such as electroplating, oil spraying and chromating.
Originated in Asia, the copper content is between 3# and 5#. 4# zinc alloy is more effective than 3# in reducing the mold sticking phenomenon of some die-casting parts, while 4# zinc alloy still maintains the same softness as 3#.
It has higher hardness and strength than 3#, but lower softness, which may have an impact when castings require bending, bending, rolling, nesting and other deformation processes. The change in properties of 5# zinc alloy is due to the addition of 1% copper. This alloy has excellent castability and better resistance to creep (deformation under high temperature stress) than 3# zinc alloy. It is also suitable for electroplating, cutting and general surface treatment.
The Basic Concept of Die Casting
Zinc alloy die-casting has a melting point of 410 degrees and a density of 6.4g/cm. The actual weight is twice that of aluminum alloy, so if there is no weight requirement, zinc alloy die-casting can be used. The characteristic of zinc alloy die-casting is that most of it is used for electroplating, bathroom equipment, faucets and door handles. Wait, many of them are electroplating
Trimming and Deburring
In recent years, because of the increase of labor cost, some manufacturers of certain products small pieces and round shape, they use low temperature nitrogen impingement casting surface, so that a lot of gross will be crushed a technology, originally in the plastic and silicone products, watch cases is a case, at present, zinc alloy die casting factory certain shapes of more round amount has been used to replace the efficiency of manual labor.
Surface Treatment
Zinc alloy surface treatment is mainly electroplating or PVD
Electroplating process is divided into many kinds of colors specific colors need to confirm with the electroplating plant process, the market is divided into two broadly see a similar faucet nickel-chrome color there is a bag and sign type of imitation gold basically very common in life color.
PVD is called (Physical Vapor Deposition) is the physical vapor deposition Simply put, through the vacuum state to let the target molecules sputtering plating on the surface of the object Physical Vapor Deposition: refers to the use of physical processes to achieve the material transfer, will be atoms or molecules from the source of the transfer to the surface of the substrate process. Its role is that it can make certain have special properties (high strength, wear resistance, heat dissipation, corrosion resistance)
The use of PVD vacuum plating is mostly due to the enhancement of its abrasion resistance, which is not easily scratched by simple scissors or sharp objects on the surface, resulting in castings with scratch-resistant surnames that are mostly used in the surface treatment of electronic products or golf clubs and watches.
Zinc Die Casting Packaging And Transportation
Most of the zinc alloys are small decorative items. Most of them are packed with paper or pearls, and then the outer layers are protected through packaging bags and then through the cartons.Generally speaking, international trade is mostly FOB and EXW.We will communicate in advance how to ship the goods.
International trade is cross-border trade, so transportation plays a vital role in international trade.
Ocean transportation is the most important mode of transportation in international trade. The vast majority of imported goods in my country are transported by ocean transportation.
- Advantages: large passing capacity, large carrying capacity, and low transportation cost.
- Disadvantages: It is easily affected by natural conditions and climate, has greater risks, and has slower sailing speed.
The bill of lading is an important basis for ocean transportation.
Transport documents refer to documents issued by the carrier to the shipper indicating receipt of the goods. It is an important document necessary for handing over the goods, settling the payment with the bank, or negotiating.
It specifies the responsibilities, powers and obligations of the parties involved in the transportation of goods. It is the most important supporting document in the transportation of goods and an indispensable document for export settlement.
The most important transportation document under ocean transportation conditions is the ocean bill of lading.
