Advantages of die casting technology

1). High dimensional accuracy and low surface roughness of die casting parts;
2) High casting strength and surface hardness;
3). Wide range of applications, lamps and radiators, auto parts, furniture and bathroom hardware, electronic and electrical accessories, jewelry accessories, building materials, tableware, toys, sports equipment, gifts, mechanical hardware accessories and so on;
4). High productivity, automated production can be realized;
5). High metal utilization rate

Disadvantages of die casting process

1). Due to the high speed of liquid metal filling cavity and unstable flow state during die casting, the general die casting method is used, and the casting is easy to produce porosity and not easy to be heat treated;
2) The internal concave complex castings, die casting is more difficult;
3). Die casting die life is low, aluminum alloy, magnesium alloy die life of about 80,000 mold times, high melting point alloys such as copper, ferrous metal and so on are low;
4) It is not suitable for small batch production, the main reason is that the die casting mold manufacturing cost is high, the die casting machine production efficiency is high, and the small batch production is not economical;
5) Aluminum alloy die casting is not easy to achieve anodizing, but there are already manufacturers using special aluminum alloy to achieve anodizing after die casting, but the yield is still low;
